Team Leaders: Dave & Sarah Ducker

St Philip's is led by Dave & Sarah Ducker. They have been part of the leadership team since 2012 and were previously acting leaders before their appointment in August 2017.

Dave was ordained as a Baptist minister in February 2018 and Sarah is currently training as a Baptist minister.

Both have been in Sheffield for over 25 years and have a deep love for the city. They have 3 daughters.

They both love expressing creativity; Sarah has discovered a love of crochet and sewing while Dave enjoys working with wood, and growing vegetables.

Operations Manager: David Craig

David loves development of people and processes. He architects the systems of St Philip’s and is always looking to improve. From South Africa originally, having lived in South Korea and has been in Sheffield since 2014.

Delighted to be married to Lucie, and enjoying the privilege of figuring out how to be parents. David will try his hand at most things and loves discovery, learning and story. 

Events Manager: Jo Edwards

Jo is Events Manager of The Printhouse, the building which is home to St Philip’s. Having completed a degree in Events Management here in Sheffield she is enjoying combining her work with something she really enjoys. 

Outside of work Jo loves exploring the many great coffee shops and parks in the city with her husband Jonny and daughter Esther and they are excited that they’ll be welcoming a baby boy into their family in 2019.


Klarissa Nägler has joined the St Philip’s team for one year. She is from Germany and is doing an Internship in the UK till September 2019. The internship is part of her education as a Youth Worker and Kindergarten Teacher. In her freetime she enjoys being in nature. She loves hiking and loves to have people around her.

Rahel Lia Friedrich is 19 years old, lived in Berlin and finished her school 2018. For the next 11 months, she is in Sheffield and working as an Intern with St Philip’s.

She likes worship and is glad for many chats with youth about God and that she could be there for them and stand with them by their side through decisions or situations.  When she is back in Germany she wants to study and become a teacher in high school.
